Air: Nearest Airport is Tezpur Airport, about 50 kms (1.5 kms) from Bhalukpong.
Rail: Nearest Railway Station is Tezpur Railway Station, you need to drive 60 kms (1.5 hrs) to reach Bhalukpong.
Road: Drive is very convenient and easy way of transportation here. Bhalukpong is connected with every part of Arunachal Pradesh via road even many parts of Assam.
Tipi Orchidarium – This place is situated 5 kms away from Bhalukpong, close to the banks of the Kameng River. This place has one of the largest collection of rare orchids in the country. If you travel between April and May then you can see the exotic orchid collection in full bloom. The Orchidarium has over 2600 cultivated orchids from 80 different species.
Pakhui / Pakke Wildlife Santuary- Bhalukpong is surrounded by the evergreen forests of the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary. This Wildlife Sanctuary has been changed into a Tiger Reserve and its name is Pakke Tiger Reserve from year 2002. Now a days the Local communities has contributed to develop some tourist amenities including homestays in this place.
Bhalukpong Fort: It was build around 10th century and now it stands as ruins. This fort shows the reach culture and glory of this place. Apart from that remains of Bana, grandson of King Bhaluka also preserved in this place.
Haversack: The tribal of this area make many types of Haversack by the bamboo and cane . In the local markets of Bomdila you can find many types Haversack. In every house of Bhalukpong you can see the use of this hand made craft.
Momos : Unlike other part of the state, momos is one of the famous food of Bhalukpong. People eats momos as the main food as well as the snacks. Steamed momos are much healthier compared to other foods. This is made of vegetables including cabbage, potato, carrot etc and non vej including chicken, mutton, beef.
Zan : Zan is the another popular ecipe of this area.It is prepared using millet flour. Local people have this as breakfast before going to work. This food is nutritious and keeps you healthy.
Thukpa : People of Arunachal Pradesh do not eats oily foods and do not use packed spices in their recipes. Mostly they use vegetables in their foods in different form. Thukpa is very popular among all over the states, same as Bhalukpong. The people of Bhalukpong use this food as their main dishes.
