Air: The nearest Airport is Tezpur Airport which is about 145 kms (4 hrs drive), connected with Kolkata and Guwahati.
Rail: The nearest railway station is Tezpur Railway Station which is connected to the major cities of India. For Bomdila you have to go by a Car.
Roadways: Bomdila has a very good roadway connection, most of the cities of Assam is connected by road via National Highway 13.
Sessa Orchid Sanctuary: This beautiful sanctuary is speeded over 100 sq. km. Here you can get various types of Orchids, different colors, different cize which amazed every people who come to visit this place. This is also known as the Tipi Orchidarium, the reserve has over 2600 cultivated orchids of 80 different species.
Bomdila Monastery: Bomdila Monastery which was founded in 1965 by the 12th reincarnate of Tsona Gontse Rinpoche. Inside the Bomdila Monastery there is a temple of Lord Buddha and residential quarters for the monks. Also known as Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Lling Monastery, it is one of the most important centres of the Lamaistic faith of Mahayana Buddhism.
Dirang Valley: Dirang is famous for its scenic natural beauty. It is situated between Jorhat (a town in Assam) and Tawang. Dirang is located on the bank of river Kamegg. This place situated on the river valley with low altitude (4900 ft).
Bomdila is known for the artistic art and craft of the region. In the small shops of the town are flooded with colorful Tibetan handicraft items, carpets, paintings, masks and thangkas that make excellent souvenirs for you near and dear ones. The craft items sold here are tastefully designed with intricate carvings and interesting themes that would surely grab the attention of the visitors in the town and would prove to be as memorable gifts while returning home.

Momo is one of the main food of the whole North East region including Arunachal Pradesh. One can find delicious momos in Bomdila. Momo is a dumping stuffed with various vegetables like potato, carrot, cabbage etc, also non vej Momos includes Chicken, Mutton, beef etc make the momos more delicious.
Thukpa:
Thukpa is a Tibetan Noodles Soup, originated in eastern part of Tibet. This food is very popular among Tibet, Nepal and most of the states of North Eastern India. This dish is widely available in this region.
